Whilst the Keto diet promotes high fat consumption, it is crucial that you are consuming the right types of fat. Different types of food have different types of fats. The best fats are saturated and monounsaturated fats like butter, lard, coconut oil and fish oil. You should stay away from inflammatory fats such as canola, cottonseed, corn, flaxseed, peanut, safflower, soy and sunflower oils.
